Back pain can be just a pulled muscle, but is often much more. We will address your whole picture and never just focus on ‘the issue’. All my experience and training have led me to believe that wellness must be addressed in the body, mind and heart.
I work with individuals ages 12 and up. I also love working with infants and postpartum moms, and I welcome those clients into this space with special care and attention.
Therapeutic bodywork is not massage. It is a gentle, interactive process that supports your body in releasing tension and restoring balance.
Releasing restrictions, while gentle, can be powerful and may be accompanied by emotional release. At times, your body may naturally want to move. This is called unwinding. You are welcome to let those movements happen. You do not need to stay still, quiet, or even remain on the table.
At the same time, there is no performance required. If your body feels still and quiet, that is just as meaningful and effective.
When we give ourselves permission to respond exactly as the body is asking, the healing process can be profound.
For myofascial and cranial sessions:
Men: shorts or swim trunks
Women: a sports bra and shorts or a bikini
*You will remain partially dressed for these sessions.
For lymphatic sessions:
Clients will disrobe and be comfortably covered with a sheet, similar to a traditional massage.
Yes. I provide manual lymphatic drainage along with education for lymphatic management.
On a limited basis, I accept clients with lymphedema for weekly bandaging.
Pricing for bandaging ranges from $100–200 depending on individual needs.
